Taking care of skin during monsoon is a tricky thing.
Unknowingly, you may be causing more harm than good, committing few beauty
faux-pas.
Drink Water
During monsoon, you will understand the importance of cleanand clear pores because the skin tends to get clogged due to rising humidity
levels. One of the easiest ways to unclog these persistent pores is by drinking
water. Water consumption works like a miracle in hydrating your body and
flushing out all your the unwanted toxins and infections which is on an all-time
high during this season.
Use sunscreen
Don’t give your trusted sun-screen a ditch during monsoon! Sunscreen
shields your skin from the UV rays of the sun and as long as it’s daytime, your
skin will need protection!
Stay alcohol free
Steer away from alcohol toners during monsoon to retain the
pH balance of your skin. Use cold water with two drops of lemon juice instead.
Lemon is not only refreshing but also acts as a deep cleanser and has
de-tanning properties, giving you a glowing, squeaky clean feel after every
wash.
